@paramira/geo-packs
License: MIT. The loader and builder are generic MIT code. The data keeps its sources' licenses, per country file: Natural Earth is public domain, geoBoundaries files are open but many are share-alike (ODbL, CC BY-SA); see the package's CREDITS.md.
Source: packages/geo-packs
What it does
Static boundary and place data for @paramira/geo maps, keyed by place cells, and a loader that fetches it on demand. Serve the data/ folder with your app; nothing here talks to a map or geocoding service, so no third party learns which places your readers look at or type.
Licenses: the code is MIT; the data is not. Natural Earth data is public domain. Each country's province and district file keeps the license its source gave it, as CREDITS.md and index.json list. All are open: no non-commercial or no-derivatives terms. But many are share-alike: about 86 countries are ODbL 1.0 (OpenStreetMap-derived) and 14 are CC BY-SA. In practice:

geo-claims
Region-claim polygons small enough to ride in a proposal: quantized to a ~111 m grid and delta-encoded, with one encoder and decoder shared by abantu, iwacu and the directory.
geo-vue
Vue SVG maps on @paramira/geo, with no tile server: a fitted, pannable, zoomable (wheel, drag, pinch) <GeoMap> and layers for regions (with agreement styling), pins, great-circle paths, flows sized by count, and count bubbles.
