Paramira is one monorepo: 8 apps people use, 8 services that carry their data, and 54 packages they're built from.
- Packages: every package by area, what it does and where it's used
- Apps: what each app is and the packages it uses
- Services: the relays, the directory and the optional services
- Protocols: what a community can turn on, with features and parameters
Licensing
Generic building blocks are MIT, so anyone can reuse them. What encodes Paramira's own design (its governance, its protocols, the apps and services) is AGPL-3.0-or-later. Each package page gives its license and the reason. Some MIT packages are also split into public repositories of their own, for audit and reuse.
